What Can You Do With a Nurd? An Early Q2 Update for $NURD Holders, HODLers, and Tire Kickers
Whether you were part of the presale, got some tokens via staking, or want to buy the (ahem) dip, here is everything you need to know about the current state of NURD.
From the Way Back Machine
The NURD token officially launched on February 24th, 2022 via a presale to KryptoNurd’s private Telegram channel.
There were just 121 wallets that received NURD in the initial distribution and vesting for those folks will continue through August 14th. Since that time, there have been as many as 5,000 users at a time and the goal is to reach 10,000 users by Q3 (more on that later).
Partnerships
Information about Citrust and AlgoFund partnerships has already been released. Holding NURD will allow users to interact with these platforms in exciting ways, and this is why NURD is aiming for 10,000+ users in the near future.
KryptoNurd is also working on things that can’t yet be fully revealed, but will definitely include a DAO partner and and NFT marketplace partner, providing additional use cases and value for NURD holders.
Staking and Airdrops
NURD is committed to working for you. As of this posting the Yieldly contract and pools will have ended (did you get in on that 5 digit APY%?), but there are several pools on AlgoFund with many more to come by July as new projects start launching.
Projects interviewed by KryptoNurd now have the option to airdrop tokens to NURD holders and so far those opportunities have included OGS, SCOUT, TACO, GEMS and CHOICE.
NFTs
In partnership with Climate Trade, KryptoNurd released a collection of certified carbon negative NFTs in 2021. Holding one of those NFTs was a requirement to be part of the NURD presale.
The NURD team is actively working on additional enhancements, rewards, and uses for those NFTs, so stay tuned and keep an eye out for giveaways.
